ODTÜ Bilgisayar Mühendisliği bölümü mezunu olan Pınar Efe, aynı üniversitede Bilişim Sistemleri yüksek lisans ve doktorasını tamamladı.Akademik alanda yazılım projelerinin büyüklük ölçümü, etkin proje yönetimi, sürekli iyileştirme, yazılım proje yönetimi ve değişim konularında çalıştı.17 senedir devam eden profesyonel iş hayatına ilk olarak Havelsan Ehsim’de Yazılım Mühendisi olarak başladı, sonrasında TÜBİTAK, Siemens ve Türk Telekom ile devam etti. Uzun yıllar ulusal ve uluslararası birçok yazılım projesinin analiz, tasarım, geliştirme, test aşamalarında yazılım geliştirmeden Scrum master’lığa, test mühendisliğinden grup yöneticiliğine uzanan farklı sorumluluklar aldı.Siemens Almanya ve Türkiye’de gerçekleştirilen projelerde proje ve portföy yöneticiliği yaptı, ürün yönetimi takımlarında yer aldı.Çevik yöntemler ile ilk olarak 2005 yılında, Almanya Siemens’te, Scrum ve XP uygulanan bir projede tanışıp, daha sonra birçok projede çevik yöntemleri uyguladı. Türk Telekom Grubu’nda agile koçu olarak yöntemlerin organizasyon içerisinde yaygınlaştırılması hedefiyle eğitim ve danışmanlık sorumlulukları üstlendi.2016 yılından itibaren de Kadir Has Üniversitesi ve İstanbul Sehir Üniversitesi’nde Çevik Yöntemler dersi vermekte olup, eğitim ve danışmanlık çalışmalarına devam etmektedir.
